WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY During World Environment Day on 6 June 2022, EMDAD celebrates the importance of the environment. EMDAD OBM and EMDAD Mussafah Office participated in World Environmental Day with the theme “Ecosystem Restoration”. Approximately 200 kg of waste was collected and disposed of during the cleanup campaign.

CLEANUP CAMPAIGNS Emdad employees participated in cleanup campaigns at various sites organized by clients. Site and facility Cleanup activities were organized and conducted by our HSE Team.

EARTH HOUR EMERGENCY DRILLSTo raise awareness about the need to take action on climate change & to promote Environmental Awareness, EMDAD encouraged its employees to participate in the Earth Hour 2022 campaign on Saturday, 26 March, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. All non-essential lights were switched off at all site camps and the EMDAD base. At site camps, during Earth Hour, activities were conducted to raise employee awareness and show commitment towards our planet. All were informed that “Earth Hour isn’t only about committing for one hour on one day – it’s about committing every day to care for our planet and each other”.
