Day for Safety and Health at Work

On April 28 every year, EMDAD celebrates with the International Labour Organization (ILO) World the Day for Safety and Health at Work with an aim to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally. It is an awareness-raising campaign intended to focus international attention on the magnitude of the problem and on how promoting and creating a safety and health culture can help reduce the number of work-related deaths and injuries.

Everyone at EMDAD is responsible for preventing deaths and injuries on the job.

Management’s Responsibility: Management is responsible for ensuring that the working environment is safe and healthy.

Employee’s Responsibility: Employees are responsible for working safely, protecting themselves, and not endangering others. Employees are also responsible for participating in the implementation of preventive measures.
